Ian talked about many things. A lifetime of work, he talked about exhibitions he had done, mentioning that at the time he found the thing to be quite a bit more challenging than first imagined.
He spoke of trust a few times in the talk, how it tends to be a back and forth thing. Both the artist and th people/person letting you use their space.
He also spoke a little about funding, for one man shops. He looked at possible sponsorships and other little things that needed to be sorted, such as costs for the space, the private view (like food, and drinks etc)
